Client Classification

Retail Clients:

They have limited access to certain high-risk investment products, including some crypto-related investments. This is due to the higher level of protection needed for these investors who are generally considered to have less experience and knowledge in complex and volatile markets like cryptocurrencies.

Professional Clients:

These clients have broader access to a range of investment products, including high-risk crypto investments. They are presumed to have the necessary experience, knowledge, and financial capability to understand and bear the risks associated with these products. The regulatory protections for professional clients are less stringent compared to retail clients, reflecting their higher level of sophistication.

In essence, while professional clients are granted more leeway in accessing complex and risky investment products, retail clients are offered more safeguards due to their generally lower risk tolerance and investment expertise.
